Aerial silks was love at first sight. That initial spark ignited a 13-year journey of dedicated training, professional performance, and education that ultimately led to the creation of Skylab. Today, Natalie brings a rare and powerful combination of artistic grace, rigorous safety standards, and scientific precision to the air.
Natalie’s commitment to mastering her craft has taken her across the globe, learning from some of the industry’s most prestigious institutions and mentors:
- Certified Aerial Instructor from the National Circus of America.
- Womack and Bowman -Master the Silks Course certification.
- Advanced training at renowned international studios across Singapore and Australia, including Strazz Aerial, Aerial Fitness Studio, Blue Circus, Elemental and Levitate Fitness.
Before she was an aerialist, Natalie was an engineer by training. Where others see pure poetry in motion, she also sees the beautiful mechanics of the physical world. This analytical background, combined with her certifications as a Yoga Instructor and in Pilates Matwork, gives her a profound, foundational understanding of the anatomy required for circus arts. She doesn't just teach moves; she teaches how the body functions safely and powerfully under the unique demands of aerial arts.
While Natalie loves the thrill of performance, her truest joy lies in education. As an instructor, there is nothing more rewarding to her than watching her students break through boundaries, build genuine strength, and ultimately find their own voice to shine on stage. Through Skylab, she has built a sanctuary where passion meets technique, inviting you to discover exactly what your body is capable of.
A marathon runner and long-distance racer, Nhu is no stranger to endurance. By day, she works as an editor for HTV, Vietnam’s premier television network—but a trial aerial silks class in 2018 completely redirected her trajectory, sparking an incredible aerial journey.
For Nhu, aerial silks is a beautiful fusion of exploring shapes and movement while building strength, flexibility, and mental sharpness. As an instructor, she blends a gentle, fun atmosphere with strength-intense training, focusing on gradual development so students can progress safely and confidently.
Driven by a lasting passion for the art, she aims to inspire the next generation of aerialists by sharing her technical skills and philosophy. Anchored by the belief that "every aerialist was once a beginner," Nhu truly believes that aerial arts has something to offer everyone, and that we all have the power to make magic in the air.
Hollie is a designer by day, an aerialist by night. She went on to take her first aerial silks class and fell in love with it, for its combination of grace and strength. She finds it therapeutic to be able to dance freely in the air, and continues to be inspired by aerial family at SkyLab.
She is a certified aerial silks instructor ( ACE certified) and she loves sharing her passion, creativity for aerial arts with her students. You can expect to have fun and safe but exciting aerial drop in her class.
Besides aerial silks, Hollie is also exploring aerial poledance, aerial hoop and sling in her practice as extensions to her passion for aerial arts.
